상반기 세계 관광객 4.4억명↓…작년보다 65% 감소<br /><br />The number of tourists traveling outside their country slumped more than 65-percent in the first half of 2020 compared to the same period last year. <br />According to a report by the World Tourism Organization, the pandemic-driven drop has resulted in more than 4-hundred 64 billion U.S. dollars of economic loss.<br />That's about five times more than the losses caused by the 2008 global financial crisis.<br />The number of visitors to Northeast Asia, including South Korea, fell nearly 83 percent. <br />The organization said it would take two-and-a-half to four years for numbers to recover to last year's level, even when travel bans are lifted and vaccines are available. <br />
